It’s not every day that a new chocolate brand is launched nationwide throughout the country,
so we were privileged to be asked to design the branding and packaging for Kiwi Chocolate Co. From writing the brand strategy, through to completion of artwork, it was an exciting journey to see the project come into fruition. The brand was launched in full seasonal Easter swing with three Easter share bags for families to enjoy, and three adult luxury eggs. We needed to consider an everyday range look and feel that could sit comfortably alongside the new brand’s premium tier.



Kiwi Chocolate Co resonates with everyday New Zealanders looking for quality chocolate made locally and ethically sourced. For the Easter launch it was important to create distinct and colourful packaging that would engage and delight, celebrating Easter fun. Illustrations depicting Easter scenes were created for the multipacks, having an overarching distinct style that worked together as a family. The luxury adult eggs needed a more grown up look, so we used a more mature colour palette with gifting cues for that special occasion. A confident and iconic composition created a classic but modern design.
